Fonz’s is a locally founded restaurant that has been a cornerstone of Manhattan Beach for the last 20 years. Started in 1997 by Olympic volleyball legend, Mike Dodd, and entrepreneur Dan Boehle, the restaurant was recently purchased by a group of local residents in an effort to keep their favorite Manhattan Beach landmark in place.
The look of the restaurant has been updated and chef Margarito Garcia, while keeping the bones of the traditional menu in place, has added many new, innovative dishes. The caring staff, led by manager Nancy Mason-Reynolds, welcome regulars and new visitors with open arms and are there to ensure everyone has the best possible dining experience. Whether it be steaks or seafood, Fonz’s serves only the highest quality for the greatest value in the South Bay.
